Sunshine Coast Riding for the Disabled (RDA) Inc. is a not-for-profit organisation providing equine-based therapeutic and recreational riding and driving programs for all members of the disability community on the Sunshine Coast, Queensland.
Our program days are Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday. We are closed Sunday and Monday. We are aligned with the State School system, so are operational during school terms and on holidays when the schools are on holidays.

This Equestrian Australia program will continue on a fortnightly basis on a Saturday afternoon.
2017 program commences on 21st January at 2pm with induction activities.

New Volunteer Training - Orientation and Induction
From October 2016, new volunteers will be offered Orientation and Induction on the first Wednesday afternoon of each month, commencing on Wed 5th October from 1pm.
Come along to see the programs in action and meet our wonderful team.
In 2017, New Volunteer Training for the start of the year will be from Tues 31st January thru till Fri 3rd February. This will allow new volunteers to do an intensive training course ready for the start of sessions on Tues 7th February 2017 . All new volunteers welcome!

NEW OPENING HOURS for SADDLERY SHOP
Thanks to the wonderful team of Volu nteers, the Saddlery Shop in Yandina now has new opening hours.
It will be open Monday - Friday from 10am - 4pm,
Saturdays from 9am - 1pm.

TOO MOO Charity Bike Ride - A Legendary Effort!!!
Saturday's (2nd May) 220km ride from Toowoomba to Mooloolaba was legendary on its own but made more so by the challenges on Friday. The event had been meticulously planned by David Fellows but nature intervened. The wild weather on Friday afternoon stranded some riders short of Toowoomba with others arriving in the small hours of the morning. One group spent seven hours in a bus stationary in Caboolture. Nevertheless, after a couple hours sleep they were on their bikes guided by TOO MOOs, pairs of supporters dressed in cow "onesies" and, in the later stages, by SCRDA volunteers, arriving at the Mooloolaba Surf Club on time at 4:30PM.
The Roof Structure is Up! National Volunteers Week and "Roof Wetting" Ceremony
During National Volunteers Week we celebrated our Volunteers and the new Roof.
Dawn Fraser, a supporter of Sunshine Coast RDA, was on hand to present Years of Service pins to our volunteers. A special Life Membership Award and pin was presented to June Bedville for her 25 years of voluntary service to RDA on the Sunshine Coast.
AN ADDITIONAL LAND SITE FOR SUNSHINE COAST RDA!
On 15th January 2014 (Transfer of Title was completed), a 35 ACRE PROPERTY AT 58 PRYOR RD, VERRIERDALE became a part of Sunshine Coast RDA, THANKS TO A BENEFICIARY WHO HAS LEFT IT TO US IN HIS WILL.
It is a gorgeous property with undulating hills, a creek and rainforest area, dam and a flat area for an arena.
